CMS, a leading provider of Crisis Management Solutions in conflict areas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in the Middle East. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of logistics activities to support our humanitarian efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services in conflict areas.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Foster relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on logistics activities to the senior management team.
Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within a humanitarian organization.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in crisis situations.
